Close Engagement Tactics (C.E.T.) Personal Security and Defense Training Close quarter engagement on the battlefield can sometimes be unavoidable. Today's American soldiers are more versatile and equipped with advanced technology to succeed in ground, air and sea conflicts. However, even with the most advance technology unavoidable situations can surface that require immediate response at close range.

Thomas Felder is a certified Combative and Defense Tactics instructor for the Armed Forces. His rigorous 40 hour Hand-to-Hand Combat Course consists of heightened emphasis in psychological warfare, knife and small arms disengagement, CTA-50 fighting strategies, and pugil stick training. Successful in training over 1000 soldiers in various commands in the Unites States and overseas from combat engineers, airborne, air-assault, military SRT, infantry, military intelligence and field artillery. Instrumental in training troops on the battlefield and hostile conflicts in Haiti, Kosovo, and Iraq.

Close engagement training is paramount in acquiring necessary skills to survive in battle, or on the streets. Close Engagement Tactics is the ultimate training implementation essential in developing a versatile combatant with the ability to convert a hostile situation and exit a victor. There's one primary goal for every soldier in battle, police officer, CIA agent, body guard and anyone confronted by a hostile antagonist, and that is to survive.

Close Engagement Tactics Three Phase Curriculum

Phase I: Introduction, psychological warfare, physical conditioning, basic stances and strikes.

Phase II: Physical conditioning, break falls, defensive rolls, wrist, arm, and leg locks, choke holds, close engagement fighting strategies and stealth approach applications with the removal of armed guards.

Phase III: Physical conditioning, knife and small arms fighting tactics, practical survival qualification, and award ceremony

C.E.T Training Request and Prerequisites

Training is offered to Defense and Security Agencies, Military Organizations, Civil Service, Police and Airline agencies.

10 person minumum training requirement for any organizations.

Remote sites must have large mat, and training aids available.

Travel: Organizations desiring training must provide transportation, lodging and training expense.

Training Request: All request for training must be made via email to info@chinesegoju.org.

Training aids consist of rubber knives, dummy M16 or rifles, rubber hand guns and pugil sticks with safety gear. This equipment is usually available at the military TASC office. Indoor training will require matting for all personnel. Training fee will depend on individual or group size. Training request must be submitted two weeks in advance.
